Criminal?

Isn't it a bit ghoulish to label this person as a "criminal" in the title of this article, as if that was his core identity? Setting aside that it infers moral judgement, it seems distasteful given the fact that he was wrongfully executed. Also, what is the criterion used here to define a person as a criminal? I once jaywalked, does that mean my tombstone should have CRIMINAL written on it for all eternity? Surely there is a better way to disambiguate this person from anyone else with the same name. I think it's disgusting to list this woman as the murderer's 'lover' when it he only claimed that 8 years after the murder because new DNA evidence proved he lied when he said he never slept with her. He was the man who raped her.

Yes, thank you for providing those press releases from the Prosecutor's office, Smb2a. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia includes all significant points of view documented in reliable sources, rather than the exclusive point of view of an involved party to a controversy, even if it is an "official" source. I will be balancing the article with reliable sources from other points of view shortly. < eleland/ talk edits> 05:47, 21 December 2008 (UTC) reply
