ALW or ALCO?

In the following excerpt:

On December 31, 1947 a final excursion carrying company President Walter Dillingham (Benjamin Dillingham's son), along with a numerous guests, departed from the Kahuku behind American Locomotive Works steam engine number 70 which worked its way through 71.4 miles of beautiful O‘ahu countryside back to the Honolulu station.

Shouldn't that be American Locomotive Company (ALCO)? I didn't correct it because there could have been an American Locomotive Works, but it doesn't sound right to me. slambo 16:14, Jun 3, 2005 (UTC)

Yes, you are correct, ALCO, American Locomotive Company. Chiddix and Simpson (2004), page 312 24.221.164.71 19:34, 2 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Bike Path Conversion

I believe a signficant part of this railroad's right of way has been converted to bike paths. If that's the case, I think this article should discuss that. JNW2 02:10, 4 November 2007 (UTC) reply
