Is there a definitive resource where James Bond was said to be born on November 16, 1924?
In John Pearson's 'James Bond, 'The Authorized Biography of 007', Pearson had the honor of deciding Bond’s birthday as November 11th, Armistice Day. The year he designated was 1920. In Fleming's 'You Only Live Twice', Fleming hints that it is 1924, the year of the Rat.
I've removed the release of Halflife 2 several times already...I honestly don't think placing this note here will change anything since the submitters apparently do not look at the edit history and probably won't look at the talk page either before adding HL2 once again...maybe I'm boneheaded and wrong about removing it again and again, but I just don't think the release of an (admittedly cool, admittedly highly-anticipated) game is important enough in the grand scheme of things. Nothing speaks against having articles on HL2, Valve etc., but we should concentrate on the really important stuff on "day of the year" articles. Game releases might conceivably be included here if the game is the highest-grossing game ever or it's a really seminal release (maybe the original Doom qualifies), but the release of just another shooter shouldn't be on here. -- Ferkelparade π 09:24, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Charles Turner (cricketer), a "deadly Australian bowler"? Is this vanity or not? It would be easier to say if Charles Turner existed. Should we institute a "if they're not notable enough for an article, they're not notable enough for birth/death info" rule? DenisMoskowitz 20:02, 2005 Apr 19 (UTC)

The hypersonic x-43 manned aircraft broke the world record for fastest manned aircraft. It's top speed was Mach 9.6 which is nearly 7,000 miles per hour and is currently the world record and was broken on november 16th, 2004 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.114.181.48 ( talk) 03:09, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Even if it was fictional, that was the date and it was also a pretty big event. Just a suggestion.-- 71.168.108.32 ( talk) 22:47, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Continuing the ongoing effort to reduce the size of the Births and Deaths sections to make them manageable, I'm removing some celebrities with few or no articles in other wikipedias, moving the entries to the appropriate Year in Topic article if they were not already present. This is in accordance with the guidelines. See discussions at Wikipedia_talk:Days_of_the_year. Deb ( talk) 12:50, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
This is a very small stub. Perhaps too short for something to be featured on the Main Page? (And in addition to be short, this seems like a pretty insignificant event... CJ is one thing, but a second edition doesn't seem like a big deal - and the size of the article seems to confirm that. -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:17, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
The disappearance of Renee and Andrew MacRae appears to have no connection with 16NOV and should be removed. They were last seen on 12NOV.
