Mercy Hospital (Portland, Maine) →
Portland, Maine -- The Mercy Hospital article was going to be placed on VFD (and would more than likely have been deleted) but was first redirected to Portland, Maine. There's no need to redirect a non-notable hospital to the city of origin.

The redirect should stay since it really does not cause a problem. I merged the stub information from the old version of the article to
Portland, Maine, so there is a reference in the article and a place for someone to expand the content.

Concur; content was indeed merged with
this edit, have to keep the history.

Feel free to edit this redirec to turn it back into an article if you do indeed add more content.

I turned this article into a
disambiguation page. I did this as there are several hospitals with Mercy Hospital as part of their name that have articles on Wikipedia. Having the Mercy Hospital page redirect to an article on
Portland, Maine didn't make as much sense to me. Nor would having this article talk of one specific Mercy Hospital while there's a number of Mercy Hospitals throughout the world. JesseG 00:29, 30 March 2006 (UTC)reply
