Kerry Curley Park

I would like to see some info of the boy who this park is named for. He was a neighbor. I believe he drowned in the Dywer St canal. He lived on my Street. And his tragic death was a shock then to our small community. His tale also cautioned us children about the dangers of playing in the canals. His death was in the late 60's I believe. I lived across the street from Kerry Curley Playground growing up. We moved there in 1967 when I was two years old, and I think the park was built before that, having spoken to a woman who lived in the neighborhood before we moved in, and to other individuals. I've made many inquiries throughout the years and can find nothing about the Curleys or what happened to them. 72.200.23.135 ( talk) 08:55, 27 January 2019 (UTC) reply

Duplicate photos

I wasn't sure which of the duplicate photos to delete in this article (they also have identical captions; see below). Which of the two do you think should be deleted?

Photo caption: "View from the tower of Shushan (now Lakefront) Airport, 1937, showing a few houses along Hayne Boulevard and mostly empty fields further south."

Thanks a gillion! Benjamin22b ( talk) 07:01, 11 June 2021 (UTC) reply
