history of the US Republican Party

The history of the US Republican Party is spelled out clearly in that article. There is no reason to repeat it here. It is tangentially related to that of the Nevada Republican Party, and should be removed. And the headings added violate WP:HEAD. Ground Zero | t 02:05, 5 December 2011 (UTC) reply

I have fixed the grammatical error in the party platform section -- it started off being about the Nevada Republican Party, which is an it, but all of the personal and possessive pronouns afterward were "they" and "their", without ever saying who "they" were.

It is incorrect to repeat article titles in the section headings - see WP:HEAD. And see WP:HEAD also about the capitalization of section headings. The Wikipedia style is to capitalize the words the same way you capitalize words in a sentence, i.e., you don't capitalize every word, just the first word and proper nouns.
