In order for this templete to be displayed on this page we need to have some information pertaining to BRAC and this facility. Because their is no information on the page, I am moving the templete here until the information can be uploaded. For more information, click here. TomStar81 03:30, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
Hi, I was an Air Force Brat that moved into the first Wherry Housing at Nellis Air Force Base in the 1950's and I know we lived in the houses in 1954 when I was in the first grade. There was as yet no grass or landscaping and parents on Wright Street planted grass. There is a photograph of me watering a tree in the front lawn, which 10 years later was a sizable tree, so your statement that the houses were built in 1958 is off by at least 4 years. Thank you. Nellis Airforce Base is mentioned in the popular videogame Fallout: New Vegas, in which it plays a not-insignificant role in the plot. Do you think this sufficient reason to add an "In popular culture" section to the main article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1002:B107:697C:9568:9030:A5BD:B889 ( talk) 00:26, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Just a correction, I am a retired MSgt from Nellis AFB and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force is not the commander of Nellis AFB. Commanders of bases are officers not enlisted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8801:2B00:1A8:CCE0:6553:9119:8F1D ( talk) 06:52, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
