Graham Poll - Following a mistake by Poll which led to Arsenal scoring in the FA Cup semi-final in 2003
This is not NPOV! The question as to whether Campbell fouled Allison (the latter certainly went down too easily...) is open to debate and the embarassing collision of Poll and Tonge was the latters fault... Rather than debate this may I suggest rewording it to:
Graham Poll - Following a disputed decision and a collision with a defender by Poll which Warnock felt led to Arsenal scoring in the FA Cup semi-final in 2003
That also gets round the fact that Sheffield had a few other players between both Allison and Tonge and the goal. If ya can't defend your goal after a bad decision that high up the pitch...

OK change it then

The Colin Wanker bit should be included in the article. That's why he's called it, and Wikipedia has no policy about hiding from mild profanity. HornetMike 23:51, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Neil's article is currently tagged to include him in Category:English football referees. This category is designed to list notable persons who have carried out the calling or profession of referee, not those in other areas of notability who happen to have a formal refereeing qualification (at whatever Level you care to mention). As you know, Neil's notability is as a Football Manager, not as a football referee. You can appreciate that, if tenuous links like this were to be applied throughout Wikipedia, we'd have some very strange results indeed. I would like others' thoughts on this please. Okay, I will leave well enough alone, I feel as protective about my 'adopted' pages as you do about yours. "Ref" he is, then. Although I still say the Category:English football referees looks dead comical with a cuckoo in the nest! :-) Refsworldlee (chew-fat) 22:40, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Friends Reunited claims that Warnock went to Westfield School. Can anyone provide a ref? (ie reference, rather than referee.) roundhouse 10:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I have made a slight amendment to the addition to Disputes>Players>Stephen Hunt, as it appears the alleged comment by Neil is unsubstantiated (the BBC web site lists the "quote" under AND SOME FROM YOU, stating that it was submitted by (Tom, France), not reported in authority or with integrity). It could possibly be hearsay, and therefore potential defamation. Refsworldlee (chew-fat) (eds) 12:56, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Gareth Southgate - Accused Southgate fielding a weaker starting XI against relegation threatened Manchester City. Claiming he "helping out" friend, Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce
Is this true? Do we have any evidence/quotes to back this up? Is there even evidence gareth didn't rotated his squad? Lewisskinner 01:39, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Anyone like to fill this one in? It has absolutely no description of the 'dispute', when or why. It's virtually just name-dropping. Otherwise this ought to come off - I'm sure Micky Adams would like someone to elaborate on the argument! If anyone's about to write "Ah yeah but I remember this one and it did happen", do enter the gist into the article, preferably with the source. Cheers. Refsworldlee (chew-fat) (eds) 20:51, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
(Unindent) All references now supplied in the Disputes section. The one contentious claim has been reworded due to no possible citation being found (Wally Downes actually saying "Do 'em"). Changed to reflect his 'unhappiness' with Warnock's cameo to the ref. Thanks. Ref (chew) (do) 19:39, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi. "Disputes>Fans>Leicester City": This contains clear speculation about the quantity of the club's fans who "saw (something) as sour grapes", and indeed whether any of them did. Impossible to quantify without a bang-on source. It hasn't got one as yet, I can't find one, and have once again put in a citation request. Not for the "10 point deduction" part - one editor seems to have interpreted my last citation request as referring to that. Thanks. Ref (chew) (do) 19:27, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
This has been officially confirmed that Warnock is now there manafger, but users (Mas18 dl in particular) keep removing this. Why? Jealousy from the Clowns?? 85.158.139.99 14:35, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Warnock is now officially QPR manager. Can someone sort this page out as it has been vandalised. —Preceding

I have tidied up the wording of this section, it was written from the point of view that Warnock was indesputably right that the Referee played beyond time. Referee's can, and do, add on time for stoppages that happen within stoppage time itself. The Referee is the sole timekeeper and he decides when 90 minutes have been completed not the little clock in the corner of Sky's coverage! Statto74 ( talk) 10:54, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
It is stated in the opening paragraph that Warnock was manager 'most successfully' with Sheffield United. I can only see he won promotion to the top division with United was there more? He did this and did the same from the third tier with Notts County. He also has a greater win ratio with Notts. I suggest this "most successfully" is replaced with "most notably" since I would agree Neil is known for his long tenure at United or removed entirely. Toxicparty ( talk) 10:19, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi, could someone please remove the following revision from the public archives ( https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Neil_Warnock&diff=prev&oldid=829459170) - it reveals a possible harassment towards another user. Iggy ( Swan) 19:51, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
