The pedagogical qualities of this map of Atlanta's neighborhoods is quite limited due to the fact that the reader must constantly refer to the legend via the arbitrary numbering scheme in order to determine the name of each neighborhood on the map. Buckhead and Midtown are really superdistricts that include several neighborhoods. Atlantic Station and Home Park, for example, are part of the Midtown district. North Buckhead is a part of the Buckhead district. R Young { yakł talk} 09:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
I removed a sentence from this article which implied that Dunwoody and Sandy Springs were neighborhoods of Atlanta. Specifically, the sentences stated that these neighborhoods were allowed to use their name in US mail, as opposed to Atlanta. I removed this information because it was outdated. In the past few years, both Dunwoody and Sandy Springs have incorporated into their own respective cities. While the post office still allows the use of "Atlanta" for delivery to certain overlapping zip codes in each city, both of these cities are now wholly independent municipalities. 74.228.64.159 ( talk) 15:23, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
