Film and television locations

A great many films and TV episodes have used either the interior or the exterior, or both. If I can find a citable list, I will add it to the article.

Bones (TV Series)

The exterior of the NHM does not appear in establishing shots of the Jeffersonian Center. The building used for that is the Old Armory, which stands across the Rose Garden.

Exhibitions and seasonal exhibitions

This mass of unintegrated information is being added by Jessp20. It's promotional, unsourced, and contains external links in violation of WP:ELNO. I think it should be added a little bit at a time verified by secondary sources such as the LA Times, not because I doubt its veracity, but to give us a way to judge the relative importance of all of these exhibits.— alf laylah wa laylah ( talk) 19:49, 16 April 2014 (UTC) reply

I may try to add some of the more established sections with refs if my attention span allows... can we agree that at least the Dinosaur Hall, Hall of Mammals, and other old-school exhibits are probably notable enough? -- junkyardsparkle ( talk) 22:27, 8 May 2014 (UTC) reply

Name changes

It would be helpful to specify the dates of the name changes beyond 1965. It was still called "The Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History" in the 1980s. When did it rename itself "The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County"? Viriditas ( talk) 22:20, 13 November 2023 (UTC) reply
