What about his position as father of Stephen Austin?
I did not see anything about Moses being given the grant by Mexico to set up the colony of Texas. While he did die before succeeding (or even starting), his son took over the grant to successfully establish that colony and bring many U.S. settlers into the region, eventually leading to the Texan revolution and the annexing of Texas by the United States during John Tyler's term in Presidency.
I feel this is an important fact of Moses Austin that was left out, but I am not a good enough writer to add it.

divorce?
The article on Mary Brown Austin (and the photo of the tomb of Moses and Mary in this article) would seem to contradict the claim that Moses divorced Mary and married another. Where does that information come from?

Year of death?
Why does this article state that Moses Austin's lifespan was "Moses Austin (October 4, 1761 – June 10, 1828)" but in 'Biography' states "he became ill and died in 1821"?
(Hint: The lifespan needs to be corrected.) — Preceding
