I am wondering if anyone can add the information about the cost to rent the Moscone Center. For instance, the American Geophysical Union (AGU) holds its annual week-long fall meeting there every December, usually in Moscone West and Moscone South. What is the cost to rent these two buildings for a week? --Roland 21:30, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Moscone is pronounced "moss-coney" as opposed to "moss cone". The article for Mayor Moscone shows an IPA transcription of /mɒsˈkoʊni/, which closely matches my guess from Wikipedia:IPA_for_English. I've added an "easy" pronunciation but depending on Wikipedia's style book, it may be more appropriate to have the IPA version. Shouran ( talk) 04:08, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, I know nothing about San Francisco or the Moscone Center, and came to this page through a link at the Basic Instinct Wikipedia page. However, I have just finished listening to the commentary track by Paul Verhoeven on the film's DVD, and, at a certain point, he claims that a car chase scene has its climax staged at what was then the building site of the Moscone Center. He states very clearly that what is shown in the film as a construction site is now the Moscone Center. But the film is from 1992, and this page mentions the Moscone Center being built in 1981, so I was curious: is Verhoeven entirely wrong, or what he mentioned was actually an extension of the Center? I think there is a mistake in the article. Moscone North is underneath Yerba Buena Gardens, but Moscone South (the original building) is above ground, right? -- Westwind273 ( talk) 17:55, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

The Keith Haring sculpture "Untitled" (three dancing figures) is at the corner of 3rd and Howard, not 5th and Howard. — Borderhacker ( talk) 21:11, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
