The comment intrigues me. The picture seems to show teams on both sides, and certainly there is enough room for a team on each side. One source I googled says teams occupied the same side because one side had poor sight lines. That's really hard for me to imagine. So what's the scoop? BlongerBros 23:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
The article currently states that locally the stadium was just "County Stadium". Well, I'm a local, and I always called it Milwaukee County Stadium, as did most people I know. Not that we wouldn't refer to it as County Stadium for short... but that's like people saying, "the stick" instead of Candlestick Park. 69.215.145.185 ( talk) 12:29, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I recall an American Indian teepee where bernie brewers mug was. The Indian would come out of the teepee and dance every time the braves hit a home run. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.229.131.73 ( talk) 22:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
I just noticed the following text in the Pink Floyd section: "To be more specific, (I was there) the clouds opened up at the very end of Dark Side Of The Moon, when the line, "And the sun is eclipsed by the moon" was sung, just wide enough to reveal the full moon, just to audience right, above the right field foul pole. The entire crowd gasped, and starting yelling at the band to check it out. Then as the heartbeat that ends the album faded, the clouds closed up, and as the last beat struck, the moon was gone, never to reappear the rest of the night. I still get goosebumps remembering that moment."
This is Wikipedia, not a place for personal recollections. 172.10.102.6 ( talk) 19:30, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for removing that, but then this was added: "Also in 1975, Pink Floyd performed at County Stadium. An urban legend has sprung up around this show – according to legend, the dark and brooding clouds parted and revealed a brilliant moon just as the band was launching into the line "I'll see you on the dark side of the moon."
It sounds strikingly similar, just worded differently. And a link to an urban legend? How is this still wiki worthy? 172.58.144.1 ( talk) 18:07, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
