Regarding the number of people who claimed descent Micronesian in the Census in 2000, I think there is a problem: There are two places called Micronesia. On one side are The Federated States of Micronesia. On the other, is the geographic area of the Pacific, Micronesia, which consists of a set of islands, including the FSM. Thus, people who said that origin can come from all this geographic area, not necessarily of the FSM. Therefore, I think the best thing is to catch data of Infoplease, in which Pacific Islanders Americans indicated the island from which they came. With a sum of the people who indicated that came or that descended of people of the islands belonging to that country, we know the number of people who reported be of the FSM. In the census of 2000, there were a number of people who indicated be originate of Micronesia, but in these surveys did not exist the category "EFM".-- Isinbill ( talk) 18:12, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
