Content removal

The following seems to be relevant to me to show his support for the jersey on his statue: On June 6, during game five of the Stanley Cup Finals, Jordan donned a Toews #19 jersey in his suite.^[1]

Tony asked me to comment here, but I am not sure what content has been removed - can someone please provide a diff and let me know when that is here? I do have to say from context that the fact that Michael Jordan (the person) wore a Blackhawks jersey (which was all I saw in the newspaper article cited above) does not seem to have a lot of relevance to the MJ statue. If Jordan personally owned the statue and decorated himself to match his outfits, perhaps. Since I do not feel like looking through the article history for the diff, please provide it here. Thanks to both of you. I have to agree that it does not seem relevant to the staue. If there is a source that directly links the two MJs wearing a jersey, then yes. The only way I can maybe see it staying in the article is as a footnote after the sentence on the statue wearing the Toew's jersey, something like "During Game 5 of the Finals, the real Michael Jordan also wore a Toews jersey in his suite inside the United Center.[ref]" but even this seems a bit of a stretch to me. Michael Jordan statue → Statue of Michael Jordan – I propose moving to make this entry more consistent with similar publicly displayed portrait statues, per WP:VAMOS, which says, "For portrait sculptures of individuals in public places the forms "Statue of Fred Foo", "Equestrian statue of Fred Foo" or "Bust of Fred Foo" are recommended, unless a form such as "Fred Foo Memorial" or "Monument to Fred Foo" is the WP:COMMONNAME. If further disambiguation is needed, because there is more than one sculpture of the same person with an article, then disambiguation by location rather than the sculptor is usually better. This may be done as either "Statue of Fred Foo (Chicago)" (typically preferred for North America) or "Statue of Fred Foo, Glasgow" (typically preferred elsewhere). If the sculpture has a distinct common name, like the Bronze Horseman, that should be used." -- Another Believer _(
