I know this won't go in the article for this quasi- SS organisation but here it is anyway. Cop walks free from assault charge after judge refuses to watch video of the attack! 86.181.30.104 ( talk) 10:15, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

I see that on October 2nd, a user who seems to be closely connected to the subject changed the commissioner's rank insignia from the real colonel's insignia to that of a 5 star general. However, this news article dated to 2 days ago (11/29/18) includes a photo of Colonel John Hayden with the insignia that I just added back. Just to avoid any edit wars I wanted to post this message to see if that other edit was in fact valid, as I am fully aware of other US police or sheriff's departments' usage of a general's rank insignia for colonels. 108.49.193.123 ( talk) 15:37, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
I agree with the Tysports, this page consists almost exclusively of positive coverage of the STLPD. I would like to expand this page to include the numerous controversies that the STLPD has been involved in.
The controversy section reads like a list of news articles. While some of these might deserve inclusion. Some are not. The inclusion of Ferguson protesters' deaths seems to be a stretch for this particular article. Some just consist of links. Recommend a rewrite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.87.186.154 ( talk) 17:25, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
