Martin Bryant

Hi all, The reference to Martin Bryant as an alumnus of the College has been deleted - there is no evidence that he went to Marcellin, but rather that he was entirely educated in Tasmania (see the talk page of his article). The multiple references to him across the Internet are all based on the claim originally made in this very article!

It's a little disturbing to see how easily Wikipedia can so easily create its own "facts".

Anyway, please don't revert it unless there is clearer evidence of Bryant's educational background. Cheers, Rob Lindsey 22:02, 6 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Annual College Awards

Is this a joke? I assume this is a spoof, but I have no evidence either way so will leave it for now.

However, having personally witnessed Brother Crispin tear an earring from a student's lobe, I rather doubt that his ... umm ... 'old-fashioned' approach to education would be lauded in this manner. If this is for real ... well, yet another reason why I left the school, I guess. Colon el Tom 03:30, 27 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Martin Bryant

Again Martin Bryant's name has been added in an act of vandalism: I took it down yesterday. I have been allowed access to the official records of all persons who attended Marcellin College and there was only one boy with the surname Bryant. He was not Martin and his date of birth was eleven years away from the date of Martin Bryant's birth. The inclusion of that name has been challenged for over 10 years and whoever keeps reinstating it is doing so maliciously. BeeKayEmm ( talk) 15:25, 21 March 2018 (UTC) reply
