Parodies

Is the reference to Doki Doki Literature Club AMV stuff really relevant here? Internet fads aren't very notable. — Frosty Beep 19:57, 12 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Eliminating commercial songs

Party City doesn't use parodies of this anymore, and thanks to the ongoing retail apocalypse phenomenon, it doesn't make sense to mention it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cody2019 ( talkcontribs) 12:56, 25 June 2019 (UTC) reply

Masayoshi Takanaka version

Would this be the right article to talk about the 1977 rendition performed by Masayoshi Takanaka, or any other covers based on the original 1949 tune by Pèrez Prado? Right now, the article is highly focused on a single lineage of Mambo No. 5 descendants, if you will. 135.0.230.68 ( talk) 14:10, 21 August 2021 (UTC) reply

Splitting up?

wouldn't it make more sense to split the Lou bega version and the original into different articles considering the Lou baga version is basically a new song and not a cover? Yarisplayz ( talk) 10:05, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply

Comment: I'm not going to !vote since I mostly disagree with the new rules at WP:COVERSONG, but if this article is split into a new article, we'll also have to move Bob the Builder's version there too since that version is just "A Little Bit Of..." with different lyrics.
