Should be removed. Bryan Adams is a Canadian, not an American as the article suggests.
I don't know about the others but Spears is of extremely distant Maltese descent. I personally object to the notion of trying to associate an ethnic group with a famous person who has only a trivially small relationship to the group.

I've replaced the list with a reference to the category. I'm placing the list here for future reference.
By the way, I added Britney Spears after someone requested her inclusion on the Entertainment Reference Desk. Her Maltese descent seems to be reliably cited, which is more than can be said for some others mentioned here. Rojomoke ( talk) 07:51, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

There's a picture of her on this article, but she's not in the category and I don't see anything about being of Maltese descent in her article.-- T. Anthony ( talk) 01:23, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
