Maggie Malone (athlete) →
Maggie Malone – Biography should take precedence over fictional character redirect. On completion, article should just have hatnote for Growing Pains character.

Support - As noted above, redirect should be applied to the character as a BLP is more significant.
Meatsgains (

Support per nom. The fictional character doesn't even have an article, so a hatnote will be sufficient.
PC78 (
talk) 16:47, 15 July 2016 (UTC)reply
Support – While the TV character may be more well-known and therefore has a strong claim to primary topic, the fact that we have a real person notable enough to have a standalone article tips the scale in favor of the athlete. Also, let's speculate a bit for fun on a Sunday evening: given the latter's birth date, she may well have been named after the TV character; any clues in an interview somewhere? —
JFGtalk 00:11, 25 July 2016 (UTC)reply
Support Per PC78. And now she is an Olympic athlete who will receive additional coverage in the next two weeks (depending on how well she does), meaning there will be a lot of people looking up who she is and getting the wrong answer from wikipedia by the current redirect vs a non-existent article for a factional character whose notability will not likely be improving over time. There absolutely should be hatnotes.
