Player identification

Can somebody identify who #77 is in this photo? From left to right it's George Farmer, Vince Ferragamo, and Kent Hill. Gary Jeter was #77 in 1983, but this was in 1982 (based on who was in other pictures from the same series of photos, playing for the Falcons), and it doesn't look like Jeter anyway. I can't find a reference to a player #77 in 1982. Acroterion (talk)

Notable fans

Village Pump Discussion Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Notable fans Sections

Should Notable fans section be governed with the same guidelines as WP:IPC In popular culture" sections should contain verifiable information with sources that establish its significance to the article's subject. On the grounds each entry should have a reliable source that supports the fandom? - FlightTime ( open channel) 00:30, 19 April 2023 (UTC) reply

I don't see why not. Though if I'm being honest, I'd rather that section not exist at all. Hey man im josh ( talk) 11:42, 19 April 2023 (UTC) reply
@ Hey man im josh: Agreed, not very Encyclopedic. - FlightTime ( open channel) 20:02, 19 April 2023 (UTC) reply
That. It can be reasonable content like at Diriliş:_Ertuğrul#Reception, but on the whole a section for that seems a bad idea. Gråbergs Gråa Sång ( talk) 07:38, 20 April 2023 (UTC) reply
Yeah, I guess, but man: this is WP:FANCRUFT at its cruftiest. The prose in the Culture section seems okay; the list of 29 semi-celebs (who apparently live in the LA area, and go to the local team's games, as one does) seems completely unwarranted. —  JohnFromPinckney ( talk / edits) 21:06, 19 April 2023 (UTC) reply
It looks like I'm the 5th to reply, with apparant unanimous agreement to eliminate the section.  Done Alsee ( talk) 09:13, 21 April 2023 (UTC) reply
Already done, I know, but add me to the unanimity in opposition to the notable fans section existing at all. -- Hammersoft ( talk) 17:30, 23 April 2023 (UTC) reply

Change at the begging of 49ers rivalry section

Matt Lafleur was offensive coordinator for Los Angeles rams in 2017 not his brother Mike. You even have on Mike Lafleur’s page here that he was with San Francisco at the time not Los Angeles. Pro football reference confirms this information, along with your own pages of each respective coach 2600:1012:B16E:8A73:B8D4:AFA4:DFC5:8161 ( talk) 04:19, 26 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Not done It's unclear what edit you wish to make. The only mention of either Lafleur on the page is the current staff, which correctly identifies Mike as the current OC. oknazevad ( talk) 10:28, 26 January 2024 (UTC) reply
