Wilcox

Howdy Wilcox II raced only in 1932 and was only 15 when Howard "Howdy" Wilcox won the 1919 race. -- Brian G 02:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC) reply

He would've raced in 1933, but Rickenbacker wouldn't allow him to run because he was diabetic. His replacement by Mauri Rose, and the subsquent placement of the car at the back of the pack started that current rule. -- Chr.K. 04:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC) reply
