If it is no longer affiliated with the Smithsonian, can someone provide a source for the start and end of the affiliation and then move that information from the intro to history? Vegaswikian ( talk) 22:31, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
If you go to the current Smithsonian Affiliation website which is maintained by the Smithsonian Institute, it does not list Las Vegas Art Museum as an affiliate. http://affiliations.si.edu/AffilDirectory.Asp?MenuID=11 I don't know the exact date the Smithsonian Affiliation ended. But the current leadership did not renew the contract.
