this article needs to be fact checked.. i dont think disston saw works was in kensington. pretty sure it was in tacony.

errata

"K&A" (Kensington and Allegheny Avenues) are cited, but not included in the District boundaries, for some reason, That said, K&A were clearly considered to be part of Kensington in the 60's-80's when I lived there. If you need more references, I saw Mary Poppins at the Mayfair theater and drank hot chocolate at the Horn & Hardarts just east of Kensington Avenue. on the north side of Allegheny Avenue, in the 60's. 137.83.96.28 ( talk) 01:19, 18 March 2024 (UTC) reply
