If the station is known as Telemundo 52, then why is this article at KVEA?? 66.32.252.70 01:28, 13 Jul 2005 (UTC)
People ask pointless questions.
In 2010, KVEA/KWHY will move from its longtime home on Alameda Avenue in Burbank, NBC Studios. A new studio is being built at Telemundo Square in Wilshire Center, 8.51 miles away in Mid-Wilshire.
This cannot be verified and was added by an anon user who vandalized several radio station pages today. It should only be added back if it can be verified. Tobycat 01:32, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
For most of its existence, the station served as an Telemundo affiliate but became the Univision affiliate for Los Angeles on July 1, 2006, following the defection of long-time Univision station KMEX-TV to NBC Universal.
I moved this content here for further discussion/evaluation because it is confusing. The date stated is in the future. Additionally, a check of KVEA's website still shows an ABC affiliation. It's unclear what this content is trying to convey. Tobycat 03:43, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
To all editors, please see the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Newscast_schedules.2C_redux, where the issue of removing locally originated programming schedules is discussed. Calwatch 05:22, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Not very comfortable with these paragraphs
On January 15, 2001 KVEA launched a number of news programs in to compete with powerhouse KMEX. From 6 a.m to 7 "Buenos Dias Los Angeles" began transmision. After the terrorists attacks of 9/11, the station upped the "Buenos Dias" coverage by an hour, starting at 5 a.m.. The show was anchored by seasoned Mexican journalist and former CBS Telenoticias reporter, Ruben Luengas, Anchor Azalea Iniguez and by Sal Morales in charge of weather and the light side of the news. Iniguez was KVEA's popular weeknight anchor who came to Los Angeles from her native Mexico. Morales used to sub for Luengas when he was on vacation or working on an assignment. Real CHP officer Guillermo Preciado joined them later on, providing traffic reports. This concept brought the element of "familia unida" implemented by News Director Al Corral, which proves that Hispanics are loyal to what they know and tend to shy from getting anything from another source including news. From day one, this team clicked. This chemistry worked: The three anchors really liked and respected one another. The viewers caught on and "Buenos Dias" was perceived as a real contender to KMEX's morning show, "Primera Edicion". Sadly this team is no longer in place. Only Azalea Iniguez remains in the mornings as Head Anchor for "Buenos Dias"
In 2006, Eduardo Quezada left the station. Once again KVEA is playing musical chairs with their on air personalities. Time will tell if they finally have gotten their act together.

Image:Kvea la.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Overall: Fine rewrite. The fleshing out of KVEA's early history was especially welcome. However, I wish more of the history of KVEA's news division had been preserved, especially regarding Eduardo Quezada, who was a major figure in Southern California Spanish language media through the early 2000s. If this issue, as well as the other ones regarding the ALTs, are remedied, then I think we'll be good to go! — CurryTime7-24 ( talk) 21:31, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
