Lede does not cover enough of what he did in the U.S. Senate
Lede does not mention his consideration for FBI director. That's pretty notable.
Article's body lacks in-depth coverage of his tenure in the Senate. Particularly missing is his stances on foreign policy and military involvement. As one of the "three amigos" (alongside John McCain and Lindsey Graham), this was one of the most defining aspects of his post-2000 election political career. Shockingly, even the existence of the popular "three amigos" nickname for the grouping of Lieberman , McCain, and Graham is absent from any mention in the article. Another thing missing is
his criticism of Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal, perhaps the most notable way he distinguished himself from other Democrats during his first senate term (he was arguably Clinton's harshest Democratic detractor during the scandal
despite previously having been cordial with Clinton. Leiberman
was the first Democratic senator to criticize Clinton over the scandal. It is particularly notable, because
one of the reasons
speculated as motivating his selection for VP in 2000 was that Gore believed it would help distance his candidacy from the baggage of Clinton's scandals (
another reason speculated was that Lieberman's religiousness and criticism of explicit content in Hollywood's output might protect against Republican efforts to tie Gore to Hollywood "debauchery")
"Criticisms" section goes against best-practices of avoiding dedicated controversies sections (best practice is to incorporate a neutral coverage of such controversies within the general body of the article rather than cordoning them off into a dedicated section)
And this is just what I noticed at a cursory look
I'll try some time to address these issues if nobody else gets to it first.

Hopefully some of y’all now trafficking the article due to his death can get on top of these problems.
It’s unfortunate I didn’t get to it before his death, as it will be riddled with these issues at a time when people will most look to this article to learn about the man.
