This article reads like a low-quality twitter-dunk

Is part of his legacy really receiving prank calls? Are Jr's sexcapades 13 years post-mortem relevant? This article is the kind of trash you'd hear from your 14 year old after he discovers atheism, not something worthy of an encyclopedia that aims to collect and categorize knowledge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.226.5.218 ( talk) 03:20, 2 September 2020 (UTC) reply

Theology

This article lacks any clear statement of Falwell's theology. Surely this is worth a section of it's own, stating his personal theological viewpoints. Darkman101 ( talk) 22:07, 17 January 2022 (UTC) reply

Jerry Falwell Sr.Jerry Falwell – Per MOS:COMMONNAME. The father is almost exclusively referred to without the suffix, similar to the case of Donald Trump (versus Donald Trump Jr.). See, e.g., this ngram. (Only the tiniest fraction of the references to "Jerry Falwell" picked up in the ngram will be to Falwell's eldest son.) Jerry Falwell currently redirects to Jerry Falwell Sr. as it is well established that the father is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for that title. Graham ( talk) 23:20, 1 April 2022 (UTC) reply

This is a highly viewed page so I think it's better to discuss the move. ( t · c) buidhe 06:04, 3 April 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Support per nom. The fact that "Jerry Falwell" already redirects to this page is a particularly strong point of evidence for Jerry Sr. being the primary topic. ModernDayTrilobite ( talkcontribs) 19:20, 6 April 2022 (UTC) reply
