I've been looking around the nets for an hour or so, and I can find no mention whatsoever of this "two-hour police chase", especially one featuring an eighteen-wheeler or thirty-three squadcars. I live in Los Angeles, and also enjoy Jeezy's music, and have never heard anything of this sort. The scale of the information seems to indicate a rumour, i'm removing it until a verifiable, reliable source can be produced. Gilgamesh Rex 20:05, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Why isn't Trap or Die, the Gangsta Grillz Cd he did with DJ Drama mentioned? Icy with Gucci Mane came from that. So did the Trap or Die video and single, and he did blow up and get recognized from that CD. I know it's a mixtape, but it should still be mentioned.
if you go to the full discography page its on there under MIXTAPES. its not an album, so it cannot be put into the album category; the same reason you arent put in the smart category...come get it...

I saw this on Beef on BET. Jeezy in a diss track against Gucci (i forgot the name) said he'd pay 10 grand for the one who got Gucci's chain for him. so he put a bounty on Gucci's chain so Gucci was kinda scared for his life and so one time these four men came into an apartment Gucci was in and were gonna rob him and possibly kill him but Gucci got a gun and went under the table and started firing. the four guys ran out and one guy died and his body was found in a forest. you should do more research on this to get more details —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.131.244.197 ( talk) 20:33, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
About the part where four people came into Gucci Mane's junky apartment and started firing-- that's true. It's in the Gucci Mane article, I know that because I was the one who added it to the article (with citations); it's under the "Homicide Charges" section of the Gucci Mane article. As for the motive being a bounty on his chain, I haven't heard of that but it could be true, just gotta find a source about it. -- Josh1billion —Preceding comment was added at 02:18, 3 November 2007

The lead is short. Some sections are stubby, and could be expanded. "Personal information" is full of one-sentence paragraphs. Better prose is needed there.-- Yannismarou 09:16, 6 January 2007 (UTC) |

This article has maintained that Young Jeezy has "affirmed his resistance to commercialism" (or words very similar to that) for YEARS, since at least 2006. Listen to every song he does and just count all of the luxury-item corporations he shouts-out, while making an album titled The Recession trying to relate to everyday Americans struggling to survive in today's hard times. Some people might disagree with me, like whoever changed it back to the way it was after I edited that section back in 2006, but regardless, the link used as a source for this claim (source/link #6) is no longer a website. Take this ridiculous claim out now please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.161.204.253 ( talk) 19:21, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

In the music career section, it states his album "The Inspiration" was named after his overcoming of hiv/aids. I've searched this to see if it is true and cannot find anything to confirm it. He has done concerts to support research, so it may have some significance to the album name..but I doubt he has it.

" On May 20, 2011, Young Jeezy announced a July 26, 2011 release date for TM 103.[21] However representatives from Def Jam Records fail to confirm this date." That information is since outdated, as new information has came in as of today, confirming a new album release date. Below is what I believe would be a better fit.
At a concert in New York City July 26, 2011 Jeezy revealed that the official release date for Thug Motivation 103 will be September 20, 2011. The concert, a celebration, was the six year anniversary of Jeezy releasing his first album. Jay-Z, Kanye West, Bun B, Fabolous, and the Lox all were on hand to celebrate/and or perform a song with the Snowman.

Young Jeezy's birthday is not October 12, 1977 it is September 28, 1977. I do not know how many times he has stated his birthday in songs. I do believe that if anyone knows when his birthday is HE does. This is supposed to be a site with the correct information and his birth date is 100% wrong, except for the year. He has a documentary coming out with his new album TM103 which he wrote and is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and in the beginning of the film he CLEARLY SAYS HE WAS BORN ON THE 28th of SEPTEMBER. Here is the documentary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSY8yRHclXA&feature=player_embedded

Young Jeezy aka Jay Jenkins was born on September 28, 1979. He was not born in the month of October. He states this in his song "Dreaming" which features Keyshia Cole. His opening line says, "born September 28th my life fought for great." Other websites also confirm that his birthday is on September 28th. http://gossiponthis.com/2011/09/29/young-jeezy-birthday-party-atlanta-ne-yo-ludacris-jermaine-dupri-new-girlfriend-jasmine-sanders-photos/ Jonesbutta ( talk) 21:42, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
He announced he dropped "Young" from his name a long time ago. He's listed as "Jeezy" on iTunes, his singles and album/mixtape covers since R.I.P. have all said "Jeezy", and his page on Def Jam says "Jeezy". Time to change it. http://www.defjam.com/artists/jeezy/ Distortiondude ( talk) 19:14, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
