What are the words for “book” in Japanese, and how do they differ? You should check Japanese Wikipedia, eg under 本 and書物, which link to lots of other articles, and make cross-links where appropriate. There are no citations at all: need to provide a basic bibliography, at the very least Kornicki, but hopefully a lot more. Why are various terms (like hyakumanto darani, seihanbon, etc) in bold? Isn’t italics enough? (English equivalents should be in quotes). What is the “Asa-Momoyama” period? Rather than describe the astonishing revolution of the late 16th to early 17th century by a standard period name, why not entitle the section something like “The revolution in printing in Japan”
