Can the article clarify (by adding a bit more detail) exactly the role the JTA plays in road infrastructure? By that I mean are they simply in charge of new construction of freeways and such, or do they function also like a city's public works/public service/transportation department and fill potholes and such? I guess what I'm wondering is if basic road maintenance and such is farmed out to the JTA by the City of Jacksonville, or if the City of Jacksonville does this work leaving the more regional planning and such to the JTA? This seems like an unusual set-up for a large city; in most cities the transit agencies usually only own and/or operate mass transit, and local roads and such are left to municipal departments to maintain, expand, etc. -- Criticalthinker ( talk) 14:40, 12 January 2015 (UTC) reply
