I see that there is a proposal to merge Jackson's Military Road into this article. I don't see a discussion of the proposal, but this is the page where it is supposed to be discussed.

• I oppose the merger. The historical road, which I just referred to in the history section of Lawrence County, Tennessee, is an entirely "different animal" from the modern Jackson Highway.
