Interesting that though for some time now Island Air has been independent of Aloha Airlines, the two carriers' planes have similar paint jobs. Do they still share counter space and ground facilities? knoodelhed 06:46, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)

At least in Honolulu and Kahului, Aloha and Island Air have had separate facilities for quite some time. - Hawaiian717 20:18, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

MKU?

Just a friendly warning: I don't know anything about airlines, but MKU also stands for Mortal Kombat Unchained. I'm making the MKU redirect into a 3 letter abbreviation disambauguation page. So you may need to change some links on other pages. Also, maybe somebody can explain why MKU redirected here... --- Silent RAGE! 06:35, 20 September 2006 (UTC) reply

The redirect was for the airline's relatively obscure ICAO airline code, which is MKU. Agree that other disambig is necessary. FCYTravis 06:46, 20 September 2006 (UTC) reply

Since it doesn't give any dates or anything, I'm not going to add it to the article now, but I wanted to note it and maybe this can get worked in at some point. http://starbulletin.com/2007/05/08/news/story08.html -- Hawaiian717 01:17, 9 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Airfleets.net

Airfleets.net is a potentially confusing source for fleet information about Island Air, since they have two separate listings for Aloha Island Air and Island Air, which list different aircraft. Island Air's fleet includes the aircraft on both lists:
