Recent edits to this article suggest the Danites never existed. I don't think that's the view of most historians. Even Richard Lyman Bushman acknowledges their existence in his autobiography of Joseph Smith. Good Ol’factory ^(talk) 01:18, 26 July 2008 (UTC) reply
