There should also be a mention of the original building of this name. I will try to find sources, and perhaps a historic picture, but that is less likely. W Nowicki ( talk) 21:50, 26 February 2011 (UTC) reply

I found two pictures of the original Honolulu Hale that served as the original governmental building of the Kingdom of Hawaii and later as Henry Whitney's store and post office. You should write a little about the original building. It had as great as a significance in Hawaiian history as the current building.
