Designed by AECOM??

As far as I know this terminus is Designed by Andrew Bromberg of Aedas (Hong Kong). Surely AECOM are the Construction company??

AECOM, just like ARUP are consultant firm in engineering (not sure they are also architectural firms or not), but they are not classified as main contractor, nor it is not the client nor QS firm. Matthew hk ( talk) 11:59, 8 March 2019 (UTC) reply

Airport Express Station to West Kowloon Terminus

Hi, does anybody know how to get (with suitcases) from Airport Express Station to West Kowloon Terminus? My foot?, Climbing up and down? Several escalators, lifts, corridors? How long will this take. Hof far is the distance and what is the height profile? Many people will use the train from the airport to Kowloon Airport Express Station and then change to the train in West Kowloon Terminus to go to Shenzhen or Guangzhou instead of using the slow train from Kowloon Station to Luohu or Futian. ++-- 84.73.123.149 ( talk) 09:32, 4 October 2014 (UTC)--++ reply

Wikipedia is not wikivoyage. The nearest station would be Austin. May be it is worth to state the distance from Kowloon station (MTR) (the station for Airport Express and another line) as citation claimed the stations (Hong Kong-West Kowloon and Kowloon ) also near to each other. However, i doubt the need to have too many detail of how many escalator or how many bumps. Matthew hk ( talk) 12:03, 8 March 2019 (UTC) reply

Connection to Airport Express Line in Kowloon

There is information missing concerning the connection with the Airport Express Line in Kowloon. How long does it take to walk there? Most people using the New Terminus will arrive from HK airport using the Airport Express in order to travel to mainland China. This will be the fastest way to connect to Shenzhen or Guangzhou. This might be 10 minutes from HK to SZ instead of 2 hours ore more as now. ++-- 84.73.123.149 ( talk) 13:57, 31 December 2015 (UTC)--++ reply

ENGVAR

Hello, given the subject matter, I thought the spelling in this article should be converted into Hong Kong English - i.e. using British spellings with limited exceptions. Does anyone disagree? -- PalaceGuard008 ( Talk) 15:34, 10 August 2017 (UTC) reply

It should use Hong Kong English. I've changed some spellings. Citobun ( talk) 03:27, 17 March 2018 (UTC) reply

There is no need to have a separate article for some floor area of the railway station. The railway station is entirely dedicated for cross-border train to the Mainland China, which the controversy around the "Mainland Port Area" is entirely derived from the railway station. Should Hong Kong West Kowloon railway station and West Kowloon Station Mainland Port Area be merged altogether? Tony85poon ( talk) 10:24, 8 February 2019 (UTC) reply

Tony85poon, this is not a WP:RFC matter. Please follow the directions at WP:MERGE. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 12:09, 8 February 2019 (UTC) reply
@ Redrose64: Some merge discussion i have tagged years ago (articles related to Hong Kong and not related to Hong Kong) and still lack of people to engage (1 to 1 stalemate or 2 for 1 against thing), as well as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Hong Kong is basically deserted, i think Rfc may be a tool to allow more people and uninvolved editors to engage in potentially controversial merge discussion. However, since each Rfc member had a quota each month, if you think it would exhaust Rfc resource , feel free to remove all RFC tag from all merge discussion. In fact, it is a 1 1 stalemate. I am going to ask for help about the Shenzhen Bay Control Point and Shenzhen Bay Port too. Tony85poon ( talk) 08:49, 19 February 2019 (UTC) reply
I don't mind if you translate or using SCMP for an sub-article, titled Controversies of West Kowloon station Mainland China port area, but for the facility itself it is not worth it to split. Matthew hk ( talk) 09:20, 19 February 2019 (UTC) reply

The size of zh-wiki was actually all about Controversies of West Kowloon station Mainland China port area, not just West Kowloon station Mainland China port area, thus it is more precise to use that title to received the translated content of zh-wiki (see article title WP:CRITERIA), but not the latter. Shenzhen SEZ Visa Port of Exit

Could someone look into this for me? I wrote "Although the West Kowloon HSR station is listed on a page titled Checkpoints in SZ by the Shenzhen Gov't Online, it is unclear whether this qualifies as a Port of Exit for the Shenzhen SEZ Visa on Arrival."
