'which is jointly owned by Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding and South Korean equity company MBK Partners' should be changed to 'owned by Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding. The brand is licensed by South Korean equity company MBK Partners in certain international markets[ref]':
Godiva Chocolatier as a brand is not jointly owned by Yıldız Holding and MBK Partners. MBK Partners has a perpetual license to use the GODIVA brand name and controls retail & distribution assets in Japan, South Korea, and Australia; with future rights to develop New Zealand. All other markets where GODIVA is present are owned and controlled by GODIVA Chocolatier.:
Not done: Source says nothing about licensing.

Hi PK650,
Here is an additional source that notes "Yildiz Holding, Godiva's Turkish parent since 2008, will remain owner of the Godiva brand, while granting MBK a perpetual license in Godiva Japan's service area."
"Godiva Chocolatier is a Belgian-based international chocolate maker which is jointly owned by Turkish conglomerate
Yıldız Holding and South Korean equity company
MBK Partners."
Please change to:
"Godiva Chocolatier is a Belgian-based international chocolate maker which is owned by Turkish conglomerate
Yıldız Holding. The brand is licensed by South Korean equity company
MBK Partners in specific Asian markets."

Please change to:
"Godiva Chocolatier is a Belgian-based international chocolate maker which is owned by Turkish conglomerate Yıldız Holding. The brand is licensed by South Korean equity company MBK Partners in specific Asian markets.[1][2]":
Godiva as a brand is solely owned by Yildiz Holding. Due to a sales agreement, retail and distribution assets in Japan and other closely aligned markets are controlled by MBK Partners.
I'm sorry but I can't read the articles due to them being paywalled.

Relevant quote here: "The buyout firm fought off about a dozen interested parties to seal the deal, worth more than $1bn, for Godiva’s retail and distribution operations in Japan, South Korea and Australia. Godiva will retain control of the brand."

In this case, given you are introducing very specific language this needs to be explicitly stated in the source.
