whats this game about? It sounds cool but we hardly got anything on it. 72.199.100.223 ( talk) 20:52, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I noticed that while the introductory piece says that the game will be localised for North America around December 2010, later on the article contradicts this by stating that God Eater Burst will be localised in North America in the original's stead, early 2011. Further more, Europe is not mentioned in the article other than the release date, despite this link to Bandai Namco's own site page for God Eater Burst EU. Perhaps there are some things I'm missing? Otherwise, if anyone wants to I'm sure things could be fixed up a bit (I'm not 100% certain about the game's current localisation state to be honest, so I'd rather someone who has been following this more closely look at it all). There was a little confusion because D3 Publisher originally planned to localize the original "God Eater" version, but later decided to localize the improved "God Eater Burst" version. As a result the English versions release dates were delayed and changed. The US is only going to get the "God Eater Burst" version on March 15, 2011. Europe's release date is still unknown. Any information linking this game to the similarly-titled play “The God-Eater” by Aleister Crowley? Palpalpalpal ( talk) 19:14, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
will be adding refs for future use here.
Will add more soon. Lucia Black ( talk) 15:41, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Here are some useful references for the upcoming rehash game, in case someone wants to expand the article. -- benlisquare T• C• E 10:12, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
The gameplay section shows zero information about what the game play is like. It contains brief background information about the story and mentions some side features of the game, but there is no information about what playing the game is like. Would be nice if someone could correct it. Kanjo Kotr ( talk) 20:32, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
I just finished this game a while back and I fell in love with it! I wanted to find out more if this was a big franchise or not. Instead, I saw how messy this article is. So longstory short, I decided to join and see if I can add some things into it and show my love to the franchise. I was looking at Skyrim, and other articles to get a good idea on verbage. I added only gameplay info because that's what I know so far. I know Wikipedia is all about the reliable sources, so don't worry. I didn't add anything that couldn't be sourced.
I made edits here and there in the past, but I decided to join because I am using my work's comp, and others use it aswell. PercyPropa ( talk) 21:36, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
I did some research on the original version of the game and found that GEB did not introduce Burst mode or Bullet customization, it just enhanced those features from the original GE. I'll figure out a way to rework the gameplay but I hope its no problem for anyone out there. PercyPropa ( talk) 15:10, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
It would help because it's the original game and the game play is the same from burst. Burst only enhanced a few mechanics. All the other media like the manga and anime reference God Eater over Burst too. And since God Eater Resurrection is coming out with reviews,it brings back the status quo back to "God Eater" instead of "Gods Eater". PercyPropa ( talk) 05:52, 17 July 2016 (UTC)

Gods Eater Burst →
God Eater (video game) – Both the original and Steam versions have God Eater (not Gods Eater) as the title. "Gods" was only given to the 2nd PSP version and later backtracked. It is clear that is the original name of the game, and subtitles given to re-releases should not be included in the article title. (After all,
Dark Souls is not entitled
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.
