This article is written in British English with Oxford spelling (colour, realize, organization, analyse; note that -ize is used instead of -ise) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

After spending time wikifying the whole list, I noticed that it's just a word-for-word copy and paste of one of the external links. I'm not sure what we should do with this, as there are a ton of wikilinks (though the majority are redlinks). The consensus at List of ecoregions (see Talk) seemed to be to leave List of ecoregions as a full list of WWF ecoregions, and this list as a list of WWF's Global 200 ecoregions. I am removing the "merge" template from this article. Tom Radulovich 18:00, 4 September 2007 (UTC) reply

The List of mangroves is not perfect. Sometimes you find some on the map, sometimes not. NT1427 Pará mangroves, NT1402 Amapa mangroves, NT1411 Guianan mangroves must be there, but I could not see them.

The Congolian coastal forests, are made up of Cross-Sanaga-Bioko coastal forests; Sao Tome and Principe moist lowland forests; and Atlantic Equatorial coastal forests. See here. -- Mario1952 ( talk) 14:15, 10 January 2017 (UTC) reply

I'm a bit confused - this isn't the Global 200 as defined in the Olsen and Dinerstein 2002 paper. That paper uses different names and codes. Where does this list come from? There are no citations in the first few sections, and none for the list - except one to a broken WWF page for Congo forests.

Looking more, it appears this page based on the WWF Ecoregions https://www.worldwildlife.org/biomes. This is not the same thing as the Global 200. I suggest this Global 200 page lists the Global 200 ecoregions, as defined by Olsen and Dinerstein. If there should be a list of WWF Ecoregions, fine, but that should be under a different page. The citations for this page link to Olsen and Dinerstein, not the newer WWF Ecoregions.

Confusing for them to come out with several iterations, but the title of the page is clear - this is the Global 200.
