NRHP?

Are any of the former Harvey Houses on the National Register of Historic Places? I thought the Barstow location was... Slambo (Speak) 11:38, 23 May 2006 (UTC) reply

I haven't gone through the entire list yet, but El Tovar certainly is:
El Tovar Hotel *** (added 1974 - Building - #74000334)
Also known as El Tovar
Grand Canyon National Park, Rte. 8A, Grand Canyon
Its stables are also listed under a separate entry.

Way cool, I just started the El Tovar Hotel article for it using the information above and from Grand Canyon Railway. Slambo (Speak) 15:03, 23 May 2006 (UTC) reply
Looking at the list by state, I found four others that are listed so I copied their links from the list pages. Slambo (Speak) 15:52, 23 May 2006 (UTC) reply

History

This article doesn't say what happened to the chain/company. There's just a vague reference to stuff ending in 1968. 82.11.245.169 ( talk) 17:54, 6 December 2009 (UTC) reply

Name of company

The company name was not the Fred Harvey Company, it was simply Fred Harvey. I think the title of the page should recognize this. Farmer88 ( talk) 02:36, 29 February 2012 (UTC) reply

How to name all the Harvey House articles

There is a new move request regarding the Barstow Harvey House which has ramifications to the naming of all the Harvey House articles. Please feel free to contribute your thoughts at Talk:Harvey_House_Railroad_Depot#Requested_move. Thank you. Binksternet ( talk) 01:42, 31 August 2013 (UTC) reply
