Quote: "The building's lobby was also featured in the opening scene of the Keanu Reeves film Speed." There is no "lobby" in the opening scene of Speed. There's also no lobby in the first several scenes of Speed. This sentence should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.152.248.35 ( talkcontribs) 21:39, 4 July 2007 (UTC) reply

I think you should watch Speed over again, there are in fact a few scenes which takes place in the lobby. Sullynyflhi 14:57, 18 August 2007 (UTC) reply

What?

Is there a reason for this sentence to be in the article?

"The Fox Plaza was the last building that Pereira worked on before his death in 1985."

It doesn't indicate who he is, what significance this person has, and why we should care that he worked on it. After running a search on wikipedia with the name there were two guys with that last name that died in 1985. So all in all this is a useless piece of information that should be deleted - or it should be better explained with links. 216.191.40.149 ( talk) 20:21, 22 November 2007 (UTC) reply

According to https://www.emporis.com/buildings/116576/fox-plaza-los-angeles-ca-usa it's William Pereira. so I'll make a link to his article. Darci ( talk) 23:08, 31 March 2017 (UTC) reply

35 stories tall?

The LA times says it is 34 stories. Is this a difference in terms of counting? Perhaps they are not counting the first floor, so it's 34 + 1, making it 35. Or is it just an error on Wiki's part? I'm not familiar with architectural articles. Harizotoh9 ( talk) 08:39, 30 July 2018 (UTC) reply

Filming location:

Trimmed the video game examples. They don't seem notable, and don't physically involve the building at all. And it's likely OR and based on just seeing it. Renamed the section "filming location", certainly it being used as a filming location is notable. Added Variety source covering Die Hard. All of the other examples will need citations, and if none are found they can be removed. Harizotoh9 ( talk) 09:21, 30 July 2018 (UTC) reply

Name change, Fox Plaza is no more

As part of the sale of Twentieth Century Fox assets Disney took over the lease holder agreement for 2121 Avenue of the Stars but declined to rename the building; I believe there are no longer any Disney units there So with FOX and Disney out of the picture building I believe is going to be renamed 2121 Plaza or something like that 70.32.172.12 ( talk) 20:52, 13 December 2021 (UTC) reply
