What was the name of the street, where Nicky Cruz lived?

-- Jay Z and Notorious BIG are two major major exclusions from that last of musicians there I'm sure there are others. -- kunal —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whistlerny ( talkcontribs) 20:16, 20 November 2007 (UTC) reply

-- Marcy Projects, where Jay Z grew up, is in Bed Stuy and St. James Place, the street BIG grew up on, is in Clinton Hill. Did they live in Fort Greene at some other point? Tommyill ( talk) 22:25, 18 January 2008 (UTC) reply

Crime rate

I deleted the sentence "Fort Greene still has a moderately high crime rate." from the Recent History section. Apart from not being cited, I believe it's not true. I looked at NYC crime statistics at nyc.gov and Fort Greene has pretty average rates of various crimes, compared with other police precincts in the city. Any demographic data (racial, economic, etc) available?-- Chimino ( talk) 13:33, 6 September 2011 (UTC) reply

The link to the site named "Fort Greene Brooklyn" doesn't seem to link to anything. Anyone know what this is? If not, let's take out.-- 38.105.132.130 ( talk) 17:52, 25 June 2014 (UTC) reply

Use of the word 'patriots'

The introduction uses the word 'patriots' in a non-capitalized, ambiguous manner, implying the word the generic rather than specific meaning of the word; surely many of the British officers commanding those prison ships were 'patriots' too, even if they were not American Revolutionary War "Patriots." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.67.70.80 ( talk) 17:07, 9 January 2015 (UTC) reply
