Urgent. Has a virus or a hacker got into the Facebook article?

I tried to edit the Wikipedia article with the title "Facebook" and there seemed to be a malfunction when I pressed the preview button. The normal preview type page was not shown. Instead, I saw a page with the title "Facebook" but the content was only criticism and/or controversy of Facebook. Nothing I did would bring up the correct preview page. I then tried clicking publish, and also got a malfunction.

Here's a link: /info/en/?search=Facebook Polar Apposite ( talk) 19:49, 7 October 2023 (UTC) reply

As you can see, if you click the link, it takes you to a page about criticism of Facebook. Polar Apposite ( talk) 19:50, 7 October 2023 (UTC) reply
I guess it's a case of vandalism. Probably no need to talk of a virus or hacker. Polar Apposite ( talk) 19:51, 7 October 2023 (UTC) reply
It seems to be back to normal now. I think someone fixed it just now. Polar Apposite ( talk) 20:03, 7 October 2023 (UTC) reply

Major outage today?

I've not got reliable sources but the chatter and realtime experience is that Meta is down as of this datestamp. BusterD ( talk) 16:12, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Yes it’s been mentioned by Variety and USA Today. The Film Creator ( talk) 16:15, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Let's see it's got any legs. Certainly have RS now. All about Super Tuesday outage. BusterD ( talk) 16:18, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
I’ve also started a discussion at the talk page on Instagram as well. The Film Creator ( talk) 16:20, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
There’s also an outage on Messenger (software) per The Independent. The Film Creator ( talk) 16:27, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
It's obviously WP:OR, but despite all of the news stories I can log in without any problem to Facebook at the moment. This means that it is not an outage with the website down completely. This needs some time to ensure that it meets WP:10YT.-- ♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:36, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • It seems that large parts of Facebook and Instagram were not working for about two hours on 5 March 2024, and they are back online now. I'm not sure if this is notable enough for a mention.-- ♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 20:43, 5 March 2024 (UTC) reply
