Similarly, the introduction is US specific. Globally the most important pathogen in commercial crops is probably vine downy mildew but there is hardly any mention of this here. Late blight is in a different group than downy mildew, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_mould. I don't know which is right, but the inconsistency should be resolved —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.145.187.67 ( talk • contribs)
