The article states he was elected governor on November 8, 1989, but the election was held on November 7 according to /info/en/?search=Virginia_gubernatorial_election,_1989. Any reason for the discrepancy? Thisdaytrivia ( talk) 03:49, 7 November 2018 (UTC) reply
