"it would be nice to have a photo of the exterior of the Home Depot Center." Blank Verse 07:30, 24 May 2006 (UTC) reply

I think the photos look better inline with the text. I just left it up to somebody else to do it. Not 800x600 though. I'm using a vertical aspect (x2) 1050x1680 so it should look good for 1024x768 people. Antiquated people need to learn computer skills, get glasses, or update their stone-age monitors (most laptops after 2000 can do 1024x768 also). This includes most Public Libraries!!!-- GreatInca 21:50, 22 February 2007 (UTC) reply

"It is located minutes away from Downtown Los Angeles"

The original article misrepresented how close the center was to Downtown Los Angeles. I replaced the statement with a more accurate and specific distance.-- Truthiness 03:47, 21 August 2006 (UTC) reply

Article name

Shouldn't this be called "Home Depot Center" Buc 15:13, 28 August 2007 (UTC) reply

I agree. "The" is not part of the name. — D. Monack talk 21:07, 31 December 2008 (UTC) reply

StubHub Center or Stubhub Center?

The article is currently at "Stubhub Center", but the lede sentence indicates ""StubHub Center". What should the article title be? Walter Görlitz ( talk) 19:54, 14 June 2013 (UTC) reply

The venue's official website capitalizes the "H" - StubHub. Khvmty ( talk) 02:41, 15 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Use of "the"

Yes, it is common in speech and some writing to say "the StubHub Center", but it isn't consistent in secondary sources. Primary sources like the stadium website and the sites for its main tenants are consistent in not using "the" such as "StubHub Center is the soccer training headquarters..." and in the LA Galaxy FAQ page. This is true for most venues across North American sports, such as Staples Center, Rogers Centre, Quicken Loans Arena, etc. that are referred to using "the" in some secondary sources, but not consistently, and not at all in primary sources. -- JonRidinger ( talk) 02:25, 8 May 2017 (UTC) reply

LA Stadium opening

The opening of the new LA Stadium (in Inglewood) has been delayed until the 2020 NFL season due to record rains in Los Angeles during the 2016-2017 winter. Benc555 ( talk) 17:22, 18 May 2017 (UTC) reply

Dignity Health Sports Park

Please do not move this page until January 1st, 2019. Until then, it will be named the StubHub Center Beasting123 ( talk) 22:58, 13 December 2018 (UTC) reply

No fears of a move since the reference is clear it's for LA Galaxy games only. Will it change for all tenants or only the Galaxy? Walter Görlitz ( talk) 23:01, 13 December 2018 (UTC) reply
I do not see an official renaming except for the LA Galaxy. Where are the general name change sources? Walter Görlitz ( talk) 10:00, 1 January 2019 (UTC) reply
Just to be clear, https://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2018/12/13/aeg-announces-new-partnership-dignity-health-renames-la-galaxy-home-stadium-dignity reads, "AEG announces new partnership with Dignity Health, renames LA Galaxy home stadium Dignity Health Sports Park", while the other tenant calls it "ROKiT Field at StubHub Center". So what's the actual field name? Is there an independent source to support the renaming? Walter Görlitz ( talk) 10:12, 1 January 2019 (UTC) reply
@ Almy and Walter Görlitz: Dignity Health is becoming CommonSpirit Health, will the stadium’s name change as well? SportsFan007 ( talk) 22:44, 4 February 2019 (UTC)SportsFan007 reply
I suppose we'll have to wait to see what the sources state will happen. Walter Görlitz ( talk) 22:54, 4 February 2019 (UTC) reply
