Here I have bolded parts of this article that seem to be biased and should be revised to conform with Wikipedia's NPOV policy:

They describe Dancing Brave as the best horse who never won the Derby. Dancing Brave was a brilliant racehorse, a 1983 bay colt whose sire was Lyphard and whose dam was Navajo Princess. He was trained in England by Guy Harwood and owned by Prince Khalid bin Abdulla.

After winning twice as a two-year-old, Dancing Brave opened his three-year-old campaign in 1986 with victory in the Craven Stakes - a 'Guineas Trial' at Newmarket, and followed it up by winning the Two Thousand Guineas itself, impressively beating Green Desert by three lengths.

Next on the agenda was the Epsom Derby, although there were concerns about whether he would see out the further distance of 1 mile 4 furlongs (2414 m). Close to last place entering the home straight, Dancing Brave came with a storming run in the last two furlongs (402 m), cutting back the lead of Shahrastani with every stride, but the finishing line came too soon and he was beaten by half a length.

His jockey Greville Starkey was heavily criticised for his tactics, but kept the ride for Dancing Brave's next race, a win in the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park. However, when Starkey was unfit to ride the horse in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes he was replaced by Pat Eddery who became the preferred choice by the time of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Both of these races were also won.

The 1986 'Arc' was Dancing Brave's best performance - bursting through to win by a length and a half in record time, leaving a high class field in his wake, including his Derby conqueror Shahrastani in fourth. That performance earned him the accolade of Europe's Horse of the Year 1986, and a highest-ever rating of 141 in the International Classifications - the official annual league table of top class flat horses.

Dancing Brave's racing career ended on a disappointing note in the United States - finishing fourth behind Manila in the Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita Park.

Since retiring to stud at Dalham Hall, Newmarket, he has sired numerous winners, having a particularly good crop of three-year-olds in 1993, including the colts Commander In Chief, who won the Epsom Derby, and White Muzzle, who was second in both the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

At the end of 1986, the panel of Racehorse handicappers met from the major racing nations of Europe to determine the International Classifications, the annual rating of thoroughbred racehorses who have run in Europe. Dancing Brave was awarded a rating of 141, the highest rating ever given to any horse up to that time. I think it still is the highest rating, isn't it? Frankel, having just been officially rated at 140 by the British Horseracing Authority, has been said to have been rated behind only Dancing Brave. JH ( talk page) 20:56, 23 June 2012 (UTC) reply
