Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... This is about a UK wide charity in existance since 1990 that provides an important social function to the elderley. It is notable in that the charity has been referenced in a number of articles Guardian, Times and websites charitydigitalnews, etc. unfortunately their name means they can be hard to identify in a general web search, having them on Wikepedia will enable people to find them much easier.

I will add further references and links shortly to evidence their importance to society. But the page should remain for same reason as "Age UK" page

Bedford

Bedford Borough Council funded a Community Network project starting in June 2012.<ref name="Bedford2012">{{cite web |url=http://www.aboutmyarea.co.uk/Bedfordshire/Bedford/MK40/Clubs-and-Groups/Social-Adults/226440-Community-Network-Project-in-Bedford |title=Clubs & Groups - Social - Adults: What's Happening In And Around Bedford |last=Thorne |first=Leigh |date=9 July 2012 |publisher=AboutMyArea |accessdate=12 June 2014}}</ref>

The project's work in Bedford (see the write-up on the Community Netwrok website was reported on the AboutMyArea site, but it seems that the site is not accepted. Nevertheless, there is an example of a third-party report of the kind needed to establish notability. I'll have a look at their other projects:

I'd be quite surprised if none of the above yielded some third-party coverage to establish notability. In the meantime, anybody else who would like to help with WP:BEFORE would be welcome. -- RexxS ( talk) 22:42, 12 June 2014 (UTC) reply
