This MIGHT be wrong information.

The deadliest soldier (more of a sniper but soldier isa soldier) in history is the Finnish sniper Simo Häyhä also known as the White death. He killed 500+ Russian troops during the winter war 1939-1940 betweean Finland and the Soviet union. And again, this MIGHT be wrong information. I am not a historian of any kind, and it is something we all finns know. i don't know anything else about the US history other than the civil war, Vietnam war, what they did in world war one and world war two and a little bit about the Louisiana purchase. We have an article on Simo Häyhä. It states: He is believed to have killed over 500 enemy soldiers during the Winter War, the highest number of sniper kills in any major war. Because of this, he is often regarded as the deadliest sniper of all time. This article ( Chuck Mawhinney) says that Chuck Mawhinney holds the sniper record for the U.S. Marine Corps. Death

Took his own life today, apparent service-related PTSD. Reported at Snipershide.com and FALFiles.com by personal friends. Obviously does not meet wikipedia standards, but obituary is not yet forthcoming and those who reported are credible OR residents in LE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.49.255.170 ( talk) 05:02, 13 February 2024 (UTC) reply
