  • I’d take out the second-to-last sentence of the lead. It’s accurate, of course, but there’s no point in giving 2020 two sentences worth of coverage when 2017 and 2018 just get one sentence.
  • Obviously this just happened, but mention he was released at the end of August.

  • I’m guessing the answer is no, but do we know how old Anderson was when his parents divorced?

I was living in Wisconsin during his supposed career high year and was shocked when the Phils signed him, because he wasn't... great even then. GhostRiver See, that's the nice thing about being a Giants fan. We can sign pitchers that aren't that impressive ( Ryan Vogelsong, Anthony DeSclafani), then watch them magically transform into the league's best. Well, at least you all got Wheeler last year!
