Central Connector

The Central Connector article about a road that was proposed but never built, should not be a stand-alone article but a section of this one. The "history" of this failed road can be wrapped up in two or three sentences within the context of the authority that proposed it. Should the Central Connector article be put up for AfD instead, I shall lobby forcefully for its deletion to avoid a bad precedent (should each other failed expressway proposal get its own stand-alone article? I can think of nine or ten in Miami-Dade County alone. Ready for articles on the Opa-Locka Expressway, LeJeune Expressway, and the Interama Expressway? And that's just in a little corner of 1/50th of the United States). 147.70.242.39 00:25, 25 April 2006 (UTC) reply

Write them. I'll welcome them. -- SPUI ( T - C - RFC - Curpsbot problems) 02:19, 25 April 2006 (UTC) reply
It would be better not to. Only SPUI would truly want to go down that road. If either of you wish to see if there is a consensus for such articles across all 50 states - and only if there is sufficient support in both the US Roads and the Florida Wikiprojects - I can help in writing some of these articles... but then again, it would give a certain editor more items to revert arbitrarily. Fair use rationale for Image:OOCEA logo.gif

Image:OOCEA logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Central Florida Expressway Authority Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority – We would like to create a separate page for the Central Florida Expressway Authority rather than edit the one for Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority. The Agency that is the subject of this article is requesting this be how we are represented on Wikipedia. Please undo the name change done by a previous editor. • Oppose. http://www.oocea.com/ has been rebranded as CFX. CFX is the obvious successor to OOCEA, with all the same roads; the only practical change is who sits on the board. -- NE2 23:28, 23 June 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose – After reviewing the website and this article (which does need updating), I also came to the same conclusion and oppose the move request. -- WashuOtaku ( talk) 00:16, 24 June 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Oppose per obvious conflict of interest. Just look at the editor's username, CFXWay, and his/her bureaucratic-sounding rationale: "The Agency that is the subject of this article is requesting this be how we are represented on Wikipedia."  V 15:05, 24 June 2014 (UTC) reply

Why does exit 82 follow exit 84 on i-4? Exit 83 follows and it is very confusing. 2603:9001:4F00:FF61:A031:5914:2814:AE61 ( talk) 16:23, 24 March 2024 (UTC) reply
